Originally founded in 1999, Southwest Specialties, Inc. has been installing quality foundations, custom decorative flatwork, pavers, and stone veneer in the greater Las Vegas area for two decades. We became a fully woman-owned company in November of 2012 and have since been working to build an even better reputation for professionalism, customer service and beautiful work. Operating in both the commercial and residential arenas, we offer a wide variety of innovative designs ranging from classic to contemporary and can complete almost any assignment a customer can imagine.

With each job, we strive diligently to not only meet our customer’s expectations, but to exceed them.

Southwest Specialties, Inc. uses cutting-edge technology to complete projects quickly and economically without sacrificing quality. Our mechanical pavers can complete any size job with minimal manpower, saving time and money and allowing us to build residential sidewalks just as cost-effectively as commercial parking lots. Capable of installing all shapes and sizes of pavement, these machines apply consistent pressure that results in uniform joint spacing.

Additionally, Southwest has a complete paperless estimating department utilizing on-screen takeoff technology. This gives our customers many different color and style choices while conserving money, space and protecting the environment.

Exercising a team approach, Southwest Specialties collaborates with architects, designers, general contractors, developers, and property owners to ensure that each step of the project runs seamlessly into the next. Several vendors are also part of our team, and we have long-standing business relationships with all of the paver manufacturers in the area. As a result, we can receive products quickly and at a cost savings, and we pass these benefits on to our customers. We also take part in construction and education committees, which gives us more expertise to draw from and expands our influence even further. Finally, we invest in our industry as a whole by participating in the School for Advanced Segmental Paving and contributing to the ICPI as voting contractor members.

We have completed projects ranging from elaborate commercial jobs to custom homes. Most notably, we installed the pavement for the New Orleans Mercedes Dome and the Westfield Mall, built a complex bridge for Mystic Casino, and laid sustainable paving for a luxury community known as Toll Brothers Brisbane. We also contributed to the Las Vegas METRO Headquarters, several schools, and remodels for Fox 5 and the Redondo Beach Pier, among many others.
